End of Year Break Up - Johnston Collection

Join Valley Potters for our End-of-Year break-up

This is a wonderful opportunity to see the JOHNSTON COLLECTION IN EAST MELBOURNE.

When: Sunday 6^th December 

THE TOUR COST:  $25 per person.

MEETING TIME: 11:45 am - TOUR TIME IS 12 Noon.  Please be at the Pullman Hotel by 11.45 am Sharp.

We will be picked up from the Pullman Hotel in Wellington Parade by minibus and taken around the house.  The tour takes about 90 minutes.  The tour has a maximum of 16 guests. 

About the Collection The Johnston Collection comprises more than 1,500 objects of English Georgian, Regency and Louis XV period furniture, paintings, ceramics and objets d’art, now regarded as one of the best collections of its kind in Australia.  Each room in the house reflects the style of its period.  We will be divided into smaller groups and guided through the rooms.  You will have the opportunity to enjoy tea or coffee served in the collection’s Wedgwood fine bone china.

The tour will be followed by lunch at “ROUTE 66” BAR AND GRILL at 150 Wellington Parade. This is just a short walk from Pullman Hotel. (Note: the bus will drop us back to the hotel.)

REGISTRATION DEADLINE: MONDAY, 16th NOVEMBER  for booking and payment.

Please note that there will be no “Kris Kringle” this year.
