General Terms and conditions for all VP Exhibitions

Only financial members of the Valley Potters Inc. may enter this exhibition.

All artworks must be for sale and listed on the catalogue form – No changes permitted.

Provenance: Artworks must be recent, original works by the artist. They may be created during a Valley Potters workshop, including alternative-firing workshops, provided the artist was directly involved in the making and firing processes.

Housekeeping: You must follow the instructions in the housekeeping document.

Identification: As per the housekeeping document.

Delivery of work: No entries may be sent directly to the gallery. Work must be delivered to the gallery at bump-in time.

Display of works:

Studio ceramic pieces should weigh no more than 20kg and be stable enough to be displayed on a plinth or table that is no deeper or wider than 450mm, unless the piece is designed to stand on the floor.

Wall art must be ready to hang and meet professional presentation standards i.e. D-hooks and hanging wire attached at the back no more than 1/3 from top of frame.

Jewellery must have a “bust” supplied where necessary.

No live additions permitted e.g. greenery

Valley Potters and the gallery will make every effort to follow the instructions but cannot guarantee displaying works requiring complex/ potentially risky adjustments.
8. Insurance: The Valley Potters Committee is not responsible for any accidental breakages or theft. It is strongly recommended that artists insure their own work and use secure packaging.
9. Promotion: The exhibitor shall permit photographs, social media, television or publication of their exhibits to promote the exhibition and for other promotional purposes by the Valley Potters Inc.

Common Ground Exhibition - MiRa Gallety
All financial members are invited to enter their work in our next exhibition. This is not a judged exhibition.

Steps to participate in the exhibition:
1. Pay to enter by Direct Deposit (preferred) or pay online
2. Complete the Exhibition Entry form by 16th March 2026.
The gallery is very strict with its timeframes. No late entries will be accepted.

QUANTITY: ONE to FOUR exhibits may be entered (only one may be a set). A fifth piece may be entered if it is wall mounted.
*As people travelling through town may like to take pieces with them, an additional 4 pieces, 5 if wall mounted, of backup work can be left at MiRa and used to restock. They must be packed in their own tub and labelled as per our guidelines. -
CLOSING DATE FOR ALL ENTRIES: Monday 16 March
No late entries will be accepted -
PHOTOS: Must be included 1MB size or larger – refer housekeeping document.

ENTRY FEE: $70.00 is non-refundable.

COLLECTION: Unsold work must be collected from the MiRa on Thursday 30th April time 11am -12pm

PAYMENT OF SALES: Transfers for the sale amount, less commission, will be forwarded to the artist within 2 weeks of MiRa paying Valley Potters.
