Cost of entry: $70 

Steps to participate in the exhibition: 

1.     Pay to enter by Direct Deposit (preferred) or pay online 

2.     Complete the Exhibition Entry form byMonday 16th March at 5:00pm 

The gallery is very strict with their timeframes. No late entries will be accepted.  

To complete this form, you will need: 

  • Details of your ABN or a completed Supplier Statement

  • Titles, dimensions and price of your work 

  • High-quality (jpeg preferred) photos of your work to upload in this form

BUMP IN/BUMP OUT DATES

Bump in/delivery of work: Wednesday 1st April – 11:00-12:00 pm (put in your calendar) 

Bump out/collect unsold work:  Thursday 30th April -  11:00-12:00 pm (put in your calendar). Under NO circumstances can work be picked up before the exhibition closes. 

If you are unable to pick up your work, it is your responsibility to organise someone to pick it up for you. 

 

This entry form must be completed by Monday, 16 March at 5:00 pm 

  

CONDITIONS OF ENTRY 

  1. QUANTITY: ONE to FOUR exhibits may be entered (only one may be a set). A fifth piece may be entered if it is wall-mounted.  

*As people travelling through town may like to take pieces with them, an additional 4 pieces, 5 if wall-mounted, of backup work can be left at MiRa and used to restock. They must be packed in their own tub and labelled as per our guidelines. 

  1. CLOSING DATE FOR ALL ENTRIES:Monday 16 March  

    No late entries will be accepted 

  2. PHOTOS: Must be included 1MB size or larger – refer housekeeping document. 

  3. ENTRY FEE: $70.00 is non-refundable. 

  4. MEMBERSHIP: Only open to financial members, 

  5. PAYMENT: Preferred Direct deposit into Valley Potters Inc bank account.

  6. COMMISSION: 33% GST incl. on sold artwork.  

  7. COLLECTION: Unsold work must be collected from the MiRa on Thursday, 30th April time 11 am -12 pm 

  8. PAYMENT OF SALES: Transfers for the sale amount, less commission, will be forwarded to the artist within 2 weeks of MiRa paying Valley Potters.

GENERAL CONDITIONS 

  1. Only financial members of the Valley Potters Inc. may enter this exhibition. 

  2. NO LATE ENTRIES WILL BE ACCEPTED. 

  3. All artworks must be for sale and listed on the catalogue form – No changes permitted. 

  4. Provenance: Artworks must be recent original work of the artist.  

  5. Housekeeping: Instructions on supplied documents must be adhered to. 

  6. Identification: As per the housekeeping document. 

  7. Delivery of work: No entries may be sent directly to the gallery. Work must be delivered to the gallery at bump-in time. 

  8. Display of works: 

  9. Studio ceramic pieces, maximum weight 20kg, should be stable and able to be shown on a plinth or table no more than 450mm deep/wide. Unless it is floor-standing.  

  10. Wall art must be ready to hang and meet professional presentation standards i.e.   D-hooks and hanging wire attached at the back no more than 1/3 from top of frame.  

  11. Jewellery must have a “bust” supplied where necessary. 

  12. No live additions permitted e.g. greenery 

Valley Potters & MiRa will make every effort to follow the instructions but cannot guarantee displaying works requiring complex/ potentially risky adjustments. 

9. Insurance: The Valley Potters Committee is not responsible for any accidental breakages or theft. It is strongly recommended that artists insure their own work and use secure packaging. 

10. Promotion: The exhibitor shall permit photographs, social media, television or publication of their exhibits for the purpose of promoting the exhibition and for other promotional purpose by the Valley Potters Inc.
