1. Years of potting?
Many! Started in High School when I discovered that I could throw.
2. How did you learn your craft?
Initially self taught from Harry Memmott’s “Australian Pottery” book, then off to College in Prahran.
3. What type of potting do you do?
Mainly throwing, some domestic wares to support the habit, love making teapots.
4. Favorite glazes, or finish?
A beautiful Chun is a wondrous thing!
5. Favorite tool?
My hands
6. What keeps you potting?
The thrill of drawing up a form from a piece of soft clay; the feeling as your hands create something new.
7. What drew you to potting?
See above!
8. Best advice given to you?
Be true to yourself.
9. Who do you find inspiring?
My husband Gordon- nothing phases him.
10. Describe yourself in 3 words ?
Honest, capable, potty!
11. Secret talent ?
Doing the Lotus position at Yoga.
12. What makes you laugh?
The Marx Brothers.
13. What can’t you live without ?
My family.
14. What 3 things would you take with you if you were stranded on a desert island?
Champagne, a soft pillow, something to draw with.
15. Favorite pastime?
Walking along the beach.
16. Favorite food?
Strawberries dipped in chocolate.
17. Best thing to spend $$ on?
More clay!
